Bikepacking Cape Reinga to Wellington
My friend Jill suggested we cycle from Cape Reinga to Wellington in February 2021, about 1500 km. This is part of the Tour Aotearoa and to quote from their website:

I was a bit doubtful, but she did cycle the whole of the South Island Tour Aotearoa route last year, so she does know what she is talking about. The clincher for me was that I did not have to organise the itinerary. That just left me towards the end of 2020 thinking about getting fit, and lots of questions about which bike, and what gear.
